A VOICE TEACHER OF MANY years, Megan has students from 2 ½ to 73 years. No matter what the student’s age, Megan’s philosophy is the same: setting high standards, and giving students the means to realize them.
Lessons include: vocal placement, range development, breath control, good musicianship and theory. Songs are chosen for their appropriateness, and acting-in-singing techniques are taught to help the student “realize” the song through his/her own “filter”. Each student works on a Classical song. The student may also choose from Broadway, Folk Music or popular repertoire. For Megan, each student is a different personality deserving of individual attention.
